Brew belt

What is the length of a brew belt? I don't need one to go around a carboy but do need it to go around a toilet tank to keep it from sweating and ruining my hardwood

You might be able to get an insulated tank from a plumbing supply.
Or if you can find some 1/2" styrofoam sheets, wrap the inside of your tank.

Yea, and once you flush the heater will quit do to being out of water. Thought of that already

insulated tank is probably the best way to go. It will cost more upfront than the brew belt but in the long run is a lot cheaper.

Don't know if it is a common solution or even a good one but I have heard of doing a hot water flush. Probably a pretty easy plumb if you have a newer home with PEX and a Hot/Cold manifold.

Use a can of spray foam on the inside of the tank; however, I'm sure it would be a terrible mess if you're not careful.
