Howdy guys, I figured I would give yall a heads up in the world of cheap wine. I found this guy at Aldi's for around 6 bucks. The body is kind of light and the colour is more akin to purple than it is red. The flavour is light and a little watery tasting.. But all in all it is not that bad of a wine.

It is not offensive, it has a lightly fruity cherry taste to it with a subtle sawdusty oak to it. Alcohol taste/burn is pretty much minimal. So, if you are in the market a nice easy drinking red for a decent price I would recommend you give it a try. Much better than the Chianti that I got from them.

Nice find..

I have a sick mind. I saw this post and thought to myself .. "why buy a bottle of wine for $6 when I can make a bottle of wine for $3.50? Perhaps I have been doing this too long??

Hehe, good point. I would drink my own bottle if I had any sitting around. However, I find it fun sometimes to go out on a whim and try something.
