Hello,

Hoping one of you has some advice......after clearing & stabilizing step, the fpack contents seem to have settled to bottom. I have 3 carboys with same issue....racked the first one to a clean carboy - was very hard to get all the syrup out. What do you think I did wrong? Should I stir the carboys to reincorporate the Fpack in the other carboys?

Thanks,
Bob

Im thinking that what you are seeing is not your f-pack but naturally settling sediment unless you just poured in the f-pack without stirring it into your wine. If that was the case then by all means five them a good stirring.

Thanks Waldo....but it is definitely not naturally occuring sediment. The bottom layer is clear and goopy. I stirred it back up to try to reincorporate. We'll see.

F-packs, because of the high sugar content, require vigorous stirring to incorporate them.
