This morning I started a CC Showcase Limited Edition Two Hemispheres Riesling. I have high hopes for this one. The juice tastes absolutly amazing.

I am learning to enjoy a nice, semi-sweet Riesling. Until recently, I was pretty much a red wine only guy. But then I figured if I want to truly appreciate wine, which I do, I need to also learn to appreciate whites. Now, although I still prefer a nice red, I am enjoying a good chardonnay, Riesling, and Vionier. I have yet to get into the sweet wines, though.

Good luck on this kit. I'll bet it will taste great.

I almost snagged that one on closeout!

Keep us posted on the progress Bob!

I did get the Yakima Valley Riesling and its about 6 month mark. I bottled it last month and I tasted it. It is going to be very good at one year. I just hope I can wait that long.

I'm getting ready to filter my first and I have a second waiting to start. I think this will be a really nice wine.

Looking good! Is that a 5 gallon carboy or a 6 gallon in the picture?

Jeepbabe, It's a 6 gallon. I always add just a little more water so I have some to top off with.

So how is this going?? I just started this kittonight and would love to know how yours turned out.

I will be racking this wine sometime next month and may steal a small sample at that time. I plan on bulk aging this kit for almost a year before I will bottle it. I have better luck not drinking it too early if I leave it in a carboy. I will give everyone an update at racking time.
