Christmas in October

This is at my local Kmart Monday morning. It seems like the stores are rushing the holidays sooner and sooner.

Yep, we saw Christmas stuff the 3rd week of September. Can't remember the store.

Saturday, Costco had artificial Christmas trees on display.
I haven't been thinking about it, but Christmas is not that far away, is it?

Yeah, I started seeing them in Walmart last night while working.
I understand merchants trying to get the cash rolling as early as possible, but come on...
it isn't even halloween yet.
There should be a general rule of no displays till the day after the nearest holiday.

my wife works at wally world and yes they've got tons of stuff they have to get out for christmas they don't like it anymore than we do they'd love it if they could wait till after thanksgiving to put it all out.
