clearing the wine

Silly question but when my wine is ready to be cleared should I leave the air lock and bung on or take it off?
This is my first attempt at home brew and I'm not to sure

Take it off to add clearing agents and then put it back on. After wine has fermented in primary, you should always leave your airlock/bung on when in secondary until bottling.
