COMPUTER PROBLEMS

After a few days of not being able to upload photos to anywhere...as well as not being able to send attachments by Email...I changed Email programs, changed passwords...Used 3 different Anti Virus programs...couldn't find any problem...computer itself was working like a charm...except for the Internet...Talked to the server techs several times a day....


Fianally...booted the DSL Modem and everything is working great now...who'd have thought...

You talked to "Techs" several times a day and they didn't have you reset the modem? That is one of the first things that should be done when you have any kind of Internet problem. I think they need some new Help Desk software or employees. Glad you got it worked out! We would surely miss your pictures.

Our 'Help-Desk' is just some 'locals'...


I told them the computer was working wonderfully..except for the Internet....they said bring it in and we'll check it out...I said "NO"...you bring me a new moden...there is nothing wrong with the computer....He said to boot it and while I spoke with him the problem was solved....Geez!!! It's working like a snap now.


I did look at some neat computers in the city today....

If it works good dont fix it as youll just start a new batch of problems most of the time or at least keep your old 1 going until all the little things are worked out with the new 1. I hate getting new computer as there is just so much stuff that just needs to be done to get it to work the way I want.
