i think it was Julie that posted her recipe for concord wine, I made it but thought it was a little too sweet so I added 2 cans of cranberry concentrate, we serve this over ice and it is really great.( early drinkable) I would like to make another, the orginal recipe called for concord jam, would concentrate do the same? seems like it might be easier.
any thoughts

I did not back sweet, however I could not get it to fermit dry, 1.02 was the best I could get, never tried to restart. i guess that is why it was a little sweet????

Welch's concord juice and concentrate both work well. I prefer the juice bottles, but cost diff *might* be a factor.

I've done Concord and Black Cherry/Concord a few times with results at least as good as the commercial concord wines available around here.

I bottled a batch of Black Cherry/Concord a few weeks ago and have a batch of Concord aging now that I'm thinking about doing some blending with.

I don't care for any Concord wine dry ...
