Crabapple wine

I have about 15 pounds of crab apples and wanted to make 7 gallons of wine so I need about 7 more pounds. I have some sweeter bigger apples I could add to them. Would that work??

yes the flavor profile will be changed slightly but to the better since mixing different apples

Absolutely, freezing helps break down the cell walls and extracts more juice than just pressing. In fact you may be able to hand squeeze.
