My brother gave me an old bottle of French Wine. Chateau Castera is the name. 1997 is the year. Medoc. Very dry red, with licorice taste to me. Perhaps its past its prime. I don't know. But its not bad nice deep dark ruby color. Smells not fruity but like licorice. Anyone ever have this wine?

Never had that one, but Medoc and Pauillac are two of my favorite appelations in France.
