I've never had dandelion wine. It's quite tasty--a bit hot yet but rather tasty! It seems to have a bit of a kick too!

I was wondering whatever became of everybodies dandelion wine from last spring! Enjoy that bbeeeeggg glass of it and get ready to make some more in a few months.

I never made mine and ended up throwing out my dandeloins that i picked and destemmed out. I was so busy fixing up the basement that I had no time to play with those and I didnt want them sitting in my freezer for that long.

A recipe would be great for newer wine makers like myself. Oh I guess I could fine one somewhere but one from a member that I know has made Dandylion would be sooooo much better. Thanks Tomy

Tomy, I'll include a small bottle of it that my son started making last year.

At first I thought it was cute because it was a lot of work picking all the dandelions and picking all the pedals off, so I let him continue. He got a gallon batch going perfectly, without my help, so no recipe.

After it was fermenting, I started having second thoughts about a 13 year old making alcohol so I just let it stay on the bench, never racked, nothing. I was getting ready to dump it one day but figured it was so nice and clear that I would taste it.......... It was awesome at just a few month old, and still sitten on the lees! So I racked off the lees, stabilized, sweetened back and bottled (all over a couple week period of course). I haven't tried any since then, but it would be a wonderfull after dinner sipping wine.

I'll include a bottle for ya.
