I just wanted to let any members whom are affected by the recent tornadoes in Oklahoma know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have been thru the ravages of an F-5 as a child in Brandenburg, KY and again last year when Henryville, IN was hit...and I had friends/family in the path both times. Not counting the F-3 that directly hit my house at 0230 Mother's Day 1994. The loss we feel is something you cannot fathom.

My daughter just got engaged to a nice young man, his older sister lost their house. Some co-workers left work early and haven't heard their status.
I live about 20 miles from the tornado path, but I went through this same thing (in the same area), in 1999.
This is really a sad deal. Latest reports are 51 fatalities, most being at the one elementary school.

I had to get away from the TV, bottled a kit wine (shiraz) to get away from all the bad news.

Thanks for your concern. We will get over this. When you live in this part of the country, tornadoes are just something you deal with.

Yes, May God bless and keep you all!

Yes. Sad to lose so many to this tragedy.

On an uplifting note, here is a video of a woman being interviewed after surviving and crawling out of her wreckage. And her missing dog was found live on camera just about right under their feet during the interview.

That just took the wind right out of my sails; goodness.

:( I'm a damn mess now, thanks :)
