Dinner Friday night

Got invited to dinner again. ("You bring the wine, we'll do the rest!" - I love those kind of invitations!)

I brought that difficult blueberry wine I ranted about in another thread here on General Chit-Chat.

A female guest:

Sip

"Oh my. Can I buy this from you?"

"Nope. That's illegal."

Sip.

"Oh, that is SO good. Hmmm... I have three grandchildren. Would you take them in trade?"

"Well, I could use some help on the farm!" (Smile)

Sip.

"You do know I am never going to be able to buy wine at the store again without comparing it to this, right?"

I gave her a bottle. I guess it's not too bad after all.

I told her about the website. Maybe she'll join....

Good work Jim. Wonder what the wine would have been like if it hadn't been stubborn. Maybe that gave it it's character.
