Does anyone know of a good place to purchase wine making equipment? Reliable and well priced. I should be able to start my first batch of wine and skeeter pee this fall. Might try to skeeter pee first without a slurry and use a starter instead. Just to get my feet wet.

We have several sponsors on this site that have great equipment packages. You needn't look any further.

I honestly agree with Robie. Just as important as price is customer service. I can tell you everyone of our vender's will give you world class customer service and the prices are good. Most of them were highly recommended from this group before they even became sponsors here.

Awesome!!! Thanks guys!!! Hopefully I will have my first batch of skeeter pee this summer, my first batch of muscadine wine, and another batch of skeeter pee this fall. The second batch of skeeter pee will be muscadine pee. I will post a thread with progress of all.

I, too, support our sponsors and recommend them. A number of them feature a "starter kit" that will give you all the essentials at a package price. At the same time, I have had some success at watching CraigsList.org in my area in picking up some good deals on carboys. It seems there are always people exiting the hobby and willing to unload their equipment.
