Experience with cooling jackets?

Hi there - new member! Does anyone have any feedback on how cooling jackets work, specifically Letina sloped-bottom tanks with cooling jackets? We're considering one, but our winemaker is curious about the specifics of how it works. Does it use electricity? We heard it can be a refrigeration system or even a water system. Does it work well? Does it both cool and warm up evenly and how quickly? This would be a big investment (and a potentially costly mistake if we don't like it), so any feedback would be much appreciated!
