Yesterday evening the heavens opened up and we had the best rain I have seen in years. It rained hard then lightly off and on for about an hour, maybe longer. No HAIL thank goodness. It rained so hard the Satellite dish went out which never happens! :d

Here is a short clip of what happens to the arroyos (dry creek beds) in the desert when it finally does rain. This is only about 100ft from my front door.

I'm happy for you Mike. Was that the remnants of "Don"?

Don was a "bust" pretty much but did help "pump up the volume" of our normal monsoonal moisture that comes up this time of year from Mexico. Man overnight my yard, garden and grape vines are loooooooooking good! :sm

Good to see you get some rain. We got a little bit last week but we could really use a 24 hr nice light soaker just like 90% of the country could.

Glad you finally git som e rain over there Mike, now stop your whining over there! LOL, just kidding!

How will this dryness help/hurt the grape production?
