I thought I would post a picture of what it is like a few miles from home hre for Memorial Day weekend. This was taken from the Whiteface Veterans Memorial Highway going up Whiteface Mountain about a half hour to my southwest. No this isn't fake, it's freakin cold out today but at least rain and wind here and not that snow.

I'm in SWMichigan and the high today was 55. Low of 42. My boat had ice in it today. Not a skeeter pee weekend.

My wife and I took a drive up to our property in the mountains, elevation 3400 ft. It was mid 60's and she required a jacket. Quite a contrast from Memorial day weekend two years ago when I shingled the roof on a shed at this same location and burnt my arse off in the process.

We have no snow here, but have gotten about 6 inches of rain the last 2 days. Danged training rain......................... At least it isn't too dry anymore..................

That's really ironic Rich that you have a Whiteface Mtn. in your area. We have Mt Whiteface in the Sandwich Range of the White Mtns. just NE of me about 3 miles, elev. 4019'. It was snow covered yesterday morning as well. A little snow on our skylights (I'm at 1350') but nothing stayed on the ground.

WOW! I saw some other photos from the weather channel. It's quite amazing and beautiful in it's own way.

Today was cool - in the 60's. It has been threatening rain but no rain yet. Now that my vines are in the ground I want it to rain. I don't relish watering by hand. It will take me three hours at least.

Obviously you guys didn't get the email about global warming. Check your in-boxes and read that email. That should clear up your problems....
