Hello.

I don't need it yet but I'm just looking for dining recommendations.

I was looking at bentonite but I had read that it's not ideal for reds. Any suggestions?

Also, if I am to use bentonite. Do I need to get anything I particular. There are plenty of food grade (or not) offerings on eBay advertised as alternative medicine. I'm assuming food grade is fine?

I also only use SuperKleer/Dualfine. It clears most wines in a week at the most. The only time I use bentonite is when I make a kit wine and it comes with it. The only other wine I make is Dragon Blood varieties. I decided to try it once on one of them and it gave me so much trouble clearing, even after using SuperKleer. I now have a fair sized bag of it that goes unused 😊
