Hey there im BRANDSPAKIN new to the world of wine and brewing. Wife and i just recently started to buy wine at our local liquor place. I dont know my skeeter juice from my chardonnay !!

My family has made wine since i can remember. But im kinda shy about asking questions about it. Dont know why. Probly because im afraid there going to tell me to do somthing and ill say ok. Then forget a small step and screw it up. BTW i have only a hydrometer and some basic yeasts and additives.

So i guess ill just trust strangers on here !!! LOL Heck any site with a super man smiley cant be all bad ! :spm

LOl

Well see ya on the forum's this outa be fun !

Welcome to the fun!

A few questions to get you started:

Do you want to make wine from grapes or from other fruits?

If grape, do you want to make reds or whites (or both)?

You can always start making grape wines from kits, which includes all the grape juice and chemicals. All you will need is some equipment.

Yup im truly from the cheese head state !

I hope to try everything from fresh fruits and concentrates. I have bees also 4 hives this yr and will have lotsa honey ( I hope) So im planning ahead and thinking about meads.

Btw local liquor store lady said yellowtail chardonnay was good. OMG Worst crap ever had. i couldent even finish a swig. so my wine cant be any worse than that !
