Thank you up front for any input

This is my first year spraying fungicides. I have an air last sprayer with a 25 gallon tank. I have read through all the formula sheets but I want input from others. How much water do you use in an acre for spraying? I know this varies based on nozzle selection, but I just want to get an understanding of what people are using.

What kind of airblast sprayer do you have? I have not seen a 25 gal one before and that is about the size we need for just an acre. WVMJ

I do not use a air blaster, I use a backpack sprayer for a smaller area. From what I do know though you have to calibrate your sprayer and nozzle to know how much water it takes to cover your acre. Do a water only run and note your speed and coverage. It might take less for the first two or three sprays and more after bloom and fruit set due to the amount of leaves. Once you have it calibrated, just add the recommended amount of chemical to cover an acre. The goal is to run the tank dry or close to dry to ensure all the chemical is applied and there is little waste.

Always check the range listed on the fungicide label. It will say something like do not apply with less than 20 gallons per acre of water or give a range between 20 and 40 gallons per acre. You want to be sure to use enough water to get good coverage. Then as bchilders says be sure you are calibrated to the label. You should calibrate the sprayer several times during the season to be sure the sprayer doesn't fall out calibration.

It is an A1 sprayer. I intend to fill the tank each acre with the required amount of chemicals for each acre. I feel this should cover me. I do plan to do multiple tests of the area I will be spraying to confirm the actual output
