I'll just start with a little about myself. I'm a recent Horticulture graduate interested in wine and have been lucky enough to meet Dennis and Cindy Reynolds of Somerset Ridge Vineyard and Winery, where ill be working when the new year comes. I have only been pursuing my interests for about a year now but I have planted 90 vines and have 300 ordered for the spring. I have made around 200 bottles of wine so far but that doesn't include the 50 gallons of wine waiting in carboys from this past harvest. I also do kits to keep learning and keep affordable fun wine in my wine rack.

I look forward to learning more from all of you and contributing wherever I can

Welcome. I know that winery, my wife & I have visited a couple times. I really like the Flyboy Red and will have to get some more. We often go by that exit on Hwy 69 when on our way to KC or back home, but don't often stop. Next time we're up that way we'll have to stop in and meet you.

I love hearing good things about Somerset. Dennis, the owner and winemaker, has done a wonderful job so far. Definitely stop by occasionally, usually new wines or reserves available each month in the tasting room plus the usual goodies. My name is Austin and I'll be there often when the new year starts
