Hi all. Michelle from Dallas here. I'm jumping back into the beer/wine making hobby and thought I'd check in here to see what has changed since the last time I did this.

A little background...I had my first go at making wine about 15 years ago or so. Had a good run and can't for the life of me figure out why I stopped. Picked it back up about 5 years ago but had to stop due to moving into a smaller place with no room. Now I have a limited amount of room so here I go. Have a small (1 gallon batch) of an apple mead going as well as 5 gallons of nut brown ale. Cheers all!

Michelle, Welcome back. We have a great group of folks in this forum so any questions will get quickly answered. I understand the no room issue. We recently relocated and so I am in my first round of winemaking in anew house. Sure wish I had a basement.

Welcome back to the Club!

Welcome back to the forum from another Dallas-area resident. I know what you mean about space - I'm using a walk-in closet. I guess you do what you must to keep the hobby active.

IF YOU BEEN HERE BEFORE I THEN CAN UNDERSTAND WHY WHEN RETURNING TO WINE MAKING YOU ALSO RETURNED TO THIS FORUM,WELCOME BACK....................

Welcome to the Forum....It's hard to leave the wine making alone....Just think of all the great wines you can make..

If its only been 5 years I will say that not much has changed with maybe the exception of a few products like Mosti Mondiale kits if they werent available to you yet and maybe RJS Winery series.

Thank you all for the kind messages!

Wade, the second time around I was really only making fruit wines. The last kits I made were WineArt ones and as I understand it they aren't around any longer.

They dont even come close to whats available now, major improvements have been made if thats the last kit youve made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a matter of fact yes, a few times. only been to the new location once but visited the original one several times.

Welcome back to the 'crib' Red!!
You have lots of help and assistance in Dallas.
