Hi

I'm Skywise and I live in West Wales.

I've always wanted to try wine making and this weekend I finally took the plunge and started a batch of strawberry wine from a recipe that I found in an old book.

As usual, I've done everything a*se backwards and started the wine off without reading up on how to do it properly so I think this first gallon batch will be a bit yucky. Never mind - you live and learn and I hope to learn a lot from this site.

I hope you guys don't mind idiotic questions because I have a load of them

What was your first batch?
you may want to post the recipe and tactics employed up until this point. It is possible it may be saved or even better, nothing wrong at all.
Oh, and by the way, get ready for this addiction "I mean Hobby" to consume your living quarters
