Anyone ever made a straight guava from Goya guava juice? I am about 4 months into a Guava Burgundy mix using Alexander's Burgundy concentrate and 4 liters of this juice, so I know it can be fermented successfully.
I racked the guava burgundy tonight, and the little bit I had left over tasted very nice, and it got me to thinking about a straight guava. Also, the fact that I bottled my Syrah and freed up all of my 1 gallon carboys gave me the itch to do some experimenting.
The juice seems like it has a silly amount of body as-is, so I'm wondering if I can make a straight guava with no raisins or something to add body.
Any thoughts or advice?
