Well Happy Bithday to you then NW. You should list it in your profile so we can all wish you a Happy Birthday for the next 10 or 20 years! Hope you had a great day even if getting treatments.

Thank you...it was yesterday....

And being as the Royal Kitchen is still under construction I made my own cake....

I really wanted and angel food cake but didn't have one in the pantry...so did my second favorite...German chocolate with pecan coconut frosting...

Jim wanted to make me a 'dump-cake' out in his dutch oven...we had one of those once and I opted to make my second choice in the house....I really should have let him try again...I told him his birthday is in 2 weeks he can make himself a 'dump-cake'.

Picked up a couple angel cake mixes today and will make one real soon....fresh raspberries/real whipped cream and angel cake.....I love spoiling my self.

I really love German Chocolate Cake with Pecan Frostings! I haven't had one in years now. Cindy used to make them for me once in a while, but I think she forgot about them. Maybe a little reminder is in order.

The Angelf Food cake with Raspberries sounds good. Maybe you could also make a black currant sauce to sprad over one. Boil them in a bit of water and thicken up with a nice sugar sauce like a jam. That might be good too.

Hope your chemo went alright today and you aren't really awake until this weekend. That would be really hard to endure in itself!

I should do that with those Currants....don't have that many.

I really only wanted an inch of rain for my Birthday...It seemed do able as a huge storm raced across the Dakota's during the afternoon....it dissipated before it got here....Then during the night we got one of those old fashioned thunderstorm.....We only got 47/100ths of an inch...others got 2-4 inches....Guess we are greatful for what we got....some of the wheat blew down, but the corn is standing tall...so the dust has settled.

Going to try to pull some weeds out of the flowers tomorrow...the ground is so hard they have been just breaking off.

So it goes
