Happy Birthday K&GB, so Ken, or Gina, or both
smiley36.gif
, hope today was special for you!

Thanks all. It was my (Ken's) birthday yesterday. I spent the day in San Diego with my daughter and son-in-law. They took me out to my favorite Mexican restaurant for lunch, and we went out again for dinner and stuffed ourselves on sushi.

Sorry I haven't been on the forum lately. Gina and I celebrated our 26th with a 12-day Meditteranean crusie out of Rome. When we returned home, we immedaitely drove to San Diego for a week-long celebration leading up to my daughter's wedding. Needless to say, we've been busy lately. Hopefully I can find time to bottle some wine soon.

Man, you have been living lately huh! Glad to hear you are having such a good time there!

Thanks Wade. We did have a great time. Trip of a lifetime.Three years in the making. We had originally intended to go for our 25th anniversary, but the Marine Corps had other plans.Igot ordersto Arizona right after I got back from Iraq. So we rescheduled our cruise for this year. Then, right after we paid the deposit on the cruise (again), my daughter announced that she was engaged. Oh boy! And then she dropped the bombshell. The wedding wasplanned one week after our cruise. At the time I could have cheerfully choked her... But we worked it out in the end.
