Hello from a Home Brewer

Hello everyone. I am a displaced Michigander now living in North Carolina. I have been a home brewer for about 5 years and not am going to make wine for my lovely wife. I, too, like wine but would leave it for my wife while I drank home brew. Now that I am making wine I will probably drink much more.

I love this website and the tremendous amount of information from everyone. I am looking forward to learning so much more about wine and wine making.

Welcome to Winemakingtalk. You will really love it here. The people are helpful and really know what they are talking about. I am also a home brewer and now a home winemaker ( it looks like wine anyway, sometimes tastes like it).

Just like homebrewing, it can get to be an obsession. The hardest thing to learn is patience.

You should be mostly ready equipped as quite a bit is the same as used in homebrewing.
