Hi folks, new (ish) wine maker here in the great white north!
I've been making wine and beer for about 6 years now, nothing intense though, 3 or 4 batches a year.
I bought 40 acres of freedom in the country a few years back, so I'm slowly building up a vineyard and orchard, plus a garden and all the classic "back to the land" stuff.
Pretty happy to have found this forum, it's helped me a bunch already! lol

Cool to see such a cross section of people, from hobbyists like me, to professionals making a living from it.

I've got a few valiants, though after last winter they were hit back pretty hard
Next year I'm thinking of planting maybe a dozen or so vines. And then hope we dont have another week long stretch of -40! lol
Beyond that I've got raspberries, saskatoons, haskaps, black currants, and wild plums.
