Been lurking since I got my equipment kit. Now that my first batch of wine (thanks dangerdave for the Dragon Blood recipe) is almost ready to move the the carboy.... thought I would say hello.

Brand new to wine making, not so new to wine drinking! I am very anxiously awaiting pulling the cork out of MY first bottle!

I enjoy the sweeter wine varieties like Moscato and Vingoles, along with fruit wines. If you have any recipes you think I might enjoy, feel free to pass them on. I have a feeling this is going to be a very expensive, but rewarding hobby.

Hi Tammy, Welcome to WMT. You may think it's a hobby but very shortly you realize it's a obsession. Have fun. bakervinyard

Welcome to the forum.

If you decide you want to make kit wines, take a look at the Summer wines, also known as mist kits. They are very sweet and fruit flavored. Really nice at Spring and Summer parties. Also, they don't require any aging.
