New to the site and wine making. I've already started my first 6 gal kit wine and have a running list of questions that I'll be working thru before I start the next batch.

Double check but I believe that what you have is a kit designed to make 6 gallons/23L not 5 gallons.

The mistake was in the post not in making the wine so that's a good thing. Wish that were the case with all my mistakes.
