Hi everyone! Been cruising the forums for a while and thought it was time to make a post! :se

Anyway, I've been drinking wine for a while now and have some affectionate names for it, and was wondering if anyone else does?

Personally, I prefer red and call it "The Red Devil", or sometimes "El Diabalo Rouge" - if I'm feeling exotic (or dealing with a Rioja lol!). Of course I may refer to it as "The old vino"...but who dosen't!!!

So come on ladies and gentlemen - what do you call the old red devil? ::

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, I was slightly nervous before posting... felt like I was on dragons den or something ROFL!
 
I have a couple. One is a blend of Zinfandel and Muscat that I named in honor of my Father-in-Law, Steve, who made it that way. I call it "Ricetta di Stefano" (Steve's recipe). I also have a Concord/Berry wine that is made from Concord grape juice, Blueberries, Blackberries and Raspberries which I call my "Berry Berry Berry Concord." Lastly, I have a blend of some unknown wine (I ordered Zinfandel, but got something else) and Muscat. I have tried a number of additions, e.g. adding Cabernet Sauvignon grape packs and red grape concentrate. It is tasting pretty good now, has promise and needs to age a bit. I have two names in mind, "Brutto ma Buono" (Ugly but good) or "Chi Cazzo Sa" and I can't print the translation of that.
