Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and I'm sure many of you enjoyed your own wine. I hope to be able to do the same in the future.. I started my first kit in mid November and am happy to have found this forum. Ive already received good advice. I'm in Fairfield County, CT but I'm originally from the Bronx, NY. I'm 1st generation born in the US of Italian descent, so I'm hoping this is in my blood. My parents made wine when I was too young to remember. I don't know why they didn't keep it up. Looking forward to sharing success stories. Thanks.

Hi! Welcome to the forum!

Connecticut seems to be represented fairly well on this site. I'm from Southbury myself and believe there are two other regulars hailing from Naugatuck.

Bill, are you talking about me? Lol

Hi Gina, Welcome to wine making talk. Great "bunch" of people on this forum. All of them willing to help at the stroke of the keyboard. Bakervinyard

There might be 1 more from Naugatuck! LOL. Lived in Seymour most of my life and spent 11 years in Middlebury until 2 years ago.

My mother lives in Naugatuck, but she's not on this board. I lived most of my life in CT, but I'm in MA now.

Hello from Ontario..... I am a new member and beginner too. Lots of friendly people willing to share their knowledge.

Degassed and stabilized yesterday! Looking for a floor corker. Found a few on craigslist but they're to far away. Where do you CT people buy your supplies locally? I know there are plenty of online sites.

Gina - Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of wine knowledge here and people are willing to help you out if you have questions. Be careful, wine making can become addictive.
