WineXpert How long to age VR Merlot and how does temp affect it?

After going through the approxiamate 6 week process to make the VR merlot, how long do you all age it before consumption and is aging at room temperature ok?

How does aging this wine kit at room temp affect the taste compared to aging in a wine fridge, it at all?

How does it taste at 2 months after kit is completed? 4 months after? 6, 8, 10, 1 year after kit is completed?

Everyones taste is different but I had a buddy that made this kit and he was not happy with it until about 18 months.
