How often to check wine barrel?

I saw someone asked a similar question but I didn't want to hijack there thread. Just put wine in new 15 gallon barrel. How often should I check it for top off, taste and so2?

I check my 23 liter barrels every few weeks. Volume seems to drop a little faster in the winter, with the lower humidity, so a little more often when the heat is running.

I am doing every two weeks on my 23L. I would think you could go at least 2-3 weeks on a 15G barrel.

I check my 60 gallon barrel every 3-4 weeks. With a smaller barrel, you will need to check more often.

I check my levels ever 7 to 10 days... Check so2 ever 6 to 8 weeks... I have a mixture of 6-10-15 gal barrels..
