Hi everyone,
I moved into a new house last year (South East UK) and after cutting back all the overgrowth I found the below grape vine.
I let it grow over the summer but I didn't train it or pay much attention to it, so it became a bit of a mess.
I've now cut back the new growth and done a lot more research into vine training. The thing it, the way this has grown is 3 thick canes coming directly from the root, there isn't a standard trunk up which then splits. Only thing I can find online is a Chablis style? It was previously trained as three canes, all rising to separate levels, then reaching across.
Does anyone have any advise on how I should train/prune this to give better fruits in later years?
Sadly I don't know the grape variety.
