View attachment 55050 Hello BitterrootGirl,
We are at the exact same point with the exact same question. Hopefully someone that knows will respond!
I will say sooner rather than later. The plant is expending energy for the grapes, rather than the vine. The sooner you eliminate them the energy can revert to vine production.
Thank you, it’s St. Vincent. Our vineyard is new this year (planted May 17). We have 117 vines, St. Vincent, chardonel , Marquette. All growing beautiful, but LOTS of questions! That’s a good looking vine you’ve got there! What kind is it?
Some of my first year vines already have little clusters. Should I wait until it’s convenient and they’ve grown past the vine shelter, or would it be better to get them off sooner?
