I need to order a Hydrometer and wine thief. What kind would you recommend?
 
Most I believe don't like the hydrometer with the thermometer. Mine has 3 scales. Gravity, how much sugar to add and % alcohol. I love it.

Wine thief has 3 pieces for small amounts or more

Where did you find a sugar scale hydrometer? I wish Midwest had those!
 
I got mine from Midwest, it has SP, Pot % Vol, and Brix. I won't say I love it, it's more of a good friend relationship still. :p
