Introducing a new member !!! Greetings to all...

Hi Folks,

My name is Abisha Lopez and I am new to this forum. I have been making wine for several years now and have just bottled me Cranberry wine I started just after the holidays in 2003. I couldn't seem to get it to clear well. I saw a message about pectin and cranberry wine in another forum and low and behold there was the answer. I went back checked my log and never added pectic enzyme (thanks to Jack Keller for that answer). Well I filtered it. I don't like to filter but sometimes you just have to.::

Anyway this is a great forum and I am glad to be here. I hope that I can add some constructive tips and get some great answers to my questions too.

LMAO sorry Larry we just can't tolerate spammers and need to protect our members from viruses. If you ever see a link to something funcky on a new members signature don't ever click on it. We have banned about 6-8 new members this week alone that were spammers.

User links won't show to the general membership until they make 5 posts. This one was plumbing I think. We also run Ip addresses against a international data base of spammers and locations of IP addresses. For instance this one listed his location in the USA but he was actually from one of several known spammer locations internationally. I prefer not to mention any locations so we do not insult any respectable members from these area's. I hope this makes sense to everyone.

So far today two more new members were banned. the one I banned was a lady claiming to be an Bankruptcy Attorney in San Diego but was actually from another country with 8 spam hits when checked. Just saying....they're always trying to bust in and we're always looking.
