Hello everyone,
My name is Greg and I have a small home vineyard in Southern California. In 2009 my wife and I planted 42 Syrah and 18 Petite Verdot vines in a corner of our back yard. Last year was our first harvest, it was pretty small and we hand crushed the grapes with neighbors and friends helping out. We had a great time and were able to squeeze four cases of wine out of that first harvest! The vines are doing well and we will have a lot more grapes this year. I am looking forward to hearing stories and sharing experiences with others about your vineyards and wine making.
