Anyone ever added raisins to primary or banana soup to thicken the island mist kits up ?

Just curious, I was thinking about adding a couple lbs of raisins to the primary of the next batch

Certainly can't hurt. The summer wines/mist kits are pretty thin.

Make sure you either use non-sulfited raisins (health food store), or rinse off the sulfite coating on the raisins you use.

Try it and let us know how it goes.
