Mosti Mondiale Kristalblock

I've noticed that something new came with my MM All Juice Pinot Grigio and Riesling, a plastic packet of golden liquid called Kristalblock, or something like that. Has anyone else seen/used these? Is this a flavor pack or just something to prevent wine diamonds?
