Lesson learned. Time to invest in an AIO.

Halfway through racking last night, the racking cane got clogged up and the more I pumped, more of the sediment would go through (and eventually clog). The hose kept coming out of the receiving carboy, too. Needless to say, I lost about a half gallon of wine to this hilarious failure, and there was much cleaning to do afterward.

Lesson learned!
