Loud smart phone?

Yeah, its me again!!! I may be finally looking into getting a smart phone. I like to have music and play it pretty loud when Im fishing. My friend has a Iphone 4 and its not very loud for music like my Sony Ericson is. I most likely wont be downloading lots of apps as its not important to me like having music is. Anyone have any good suggestions for a phone with good sound quality?

I have the DROID and I have to put the phone to my ear even with the speaker phone on if there is any noise around at all. No good.

I have the DROID RAZR and I love it. When I switched from a Crackberry to a DROID several years ago I swore I would never go back. Three of my brothers have the I-phone and my secretary has the latest and greatest one and my DROID kicks it's butt!
It goes loud too for playing music and does everything and more than my Sec's new I-phone.

Wade you can buy external speakers that are battery powered or not for pretty cheap. I hate how smartphones are so damn quiet. I have a DroidX2 and it's only OK for volume.

You should here the Sony Erickson I have now, people look around for someone carrying a boom box!!! I hear where the heck is that music coming from all the time and when I tell them its my phone they say yea right, then I show them and they are amazed!!! Maybe Ill just play it safe and get the new Sony! They are a PITA with their special cables and hard to get mememory cards. I basically have to take my card and put that in a card holder and put that into a card holder and finaly that into a card reader just to get pics out of my phone! Thats why a lot of pics that I take with my phone dont end up on here for some time as I usually have a hard time getting all that to work and get my pics out!

Mine too iPhone4S are you sure your volume is up in iTunes etc. I have mine turned down because it's loud.

Rand, I would probably have to go online and find a special cable for that and I have looked a few times with no luck but I havent spent hours doing so. I gave up after like 5 websites despite Gogling what I was looking for.
