In Baden Germany visiting my wife’s relatives who have been making wine for at least 5 generations. It was a way to supplement income originally but now is on a smaller scale and primarily to keep the tradition alive. I asked many questions and learned a lot. I knew the west side of Germany was big wine country but had no idea how big. We also spent some time in the Mosel Valley, simply amazing.
