If you could only make one Meglioli kit and had a choice between the Cab Del Veneto and the Barolo which would you choose? Thanks for you vote.

I have not tried the cab. (I plan to)


But so far I am VERY happy with the Barolo


I want to do the cab, but cant seem to find them until next year.

I have only tried the Barolo but OMG is it good!!!!!!!!!!!

I also have the Barolo. Added oak in secondary for about 4-5 weeks and racked into 2nd carboy. Samples taste really good. Still bubbling a bit with tiny CO2 bubbles when smacked around. I'm following advise here and forgetting about it for awhile. Kind of hard when it is right in my line of sight as I go to the garage in the AM to go to work!!!

My vote is do both!!!!!!
I have the Amarone in the bottle and the Barolo going now!!!! It is up to you... I don't think you can gor wrong with either-one!!!!!!

rrussell, I have made the Cab Del Veneto and I found it to be a little thin. I like my cabs beefy and spicy. I have the Barolo aging in the bottle now. It will be a year oldin Jan.
