Well - we did it again!! Had a bottling party last Sat at Milla Vineyards (www.millavineyards.com) in Fresno.

These are the friends that we helped bottle earlier this year. BUT, this time was even more fun!!! The Milla's have a opportunity to partner with a doctor designing a wine and chocolate package. Since there are so many 'good things' that red wine and chocolate does for the heart and body, they are packaging the same. This will be a subscription 3 splits of red and 3 chocolate hearts once a quarter or more if you would like. Good luck to them - just too bad it wasn't one of us!!!

Anyway, we (7 of us) bottled 225 gallons of ruby cab in 375 ml bottles. That's 2250 bottles in 3.5 hours. Then they had another crew coming in Sunday to finish the tank (350 gallons) or 3500 bottles. They had to get in done by the first of the year. Yea - it's done. The SAT 'A TEAM' rocked!!

Will post pictures when we get them back.

Brought home a case (12) of the ruby so am looking forward to that. THEN, Joey asked me if I would like some 'mystery wine'? They found it in a corner of the barrel room without labels. Have no idea what it is but will go back to 2004. I brought home 5 cases - no labels - so could be good - bad - or ? BUT, will have the unlabeled bottles to use too!!.

Anyway, this is what we did last weeked so wanted to share with you.

Wish some of you were closer to share in this - - - -

Glad you guys had fun. Sounds like a good setup for them. I know the subscription wouldn't keep me supplied with wine though- that's only one 375 per month!
