I just did my clearing / fpack on a Island Mist Pom/Zin kit.

As part of the process you put in the K-meta and sorbate, degass, then take out a liter of wine to make sure there is room for the f-pack.

I put in the f-pack and clearing agent and then topped off with the held back wine. But I did not need much of it and there was plenty to fill a bottle.

I back sweetened that hold back and filled one bottle just to see what happens. it has its sorbate and k-meta since you remove it after this step.

Since this is a mist kit and does not need much/any aging, Would it be ok to drink the bottle in a few days after it settles out some. I am sure here will be sediment as you do the clearing with the lees in the secondry.

A few sips and i taste kind of sweet/fruity which is what we expect of the kit anyway.

Can it be drank?

Once it has cleared it is drinkable. Even those Island Mist kits improve with a little aging.
