Hi all, this is my 4th batch of homemade wine and I have mold in some of the buckets. I picked 5 five gallon buckets of each, cab sav and merlot. Crushed them in my new enoitalia crusher destemmer. Caught them in a new been that I rinsed out with campden tablet water and transferred them to buckets that were rinsed the same. That was Monday, today is Wednesday and I noticed some specs of mold on the walls of the buckets as I punch down the floating grapes. I’ve done everything essentially the same as my previous batches but this is the first time I’ve had mold. What should I do? The plan was to finish initial fermentation in the buckets, strain the grapes then transfer to carboys and add vp41. What should I do? Thanks in advance for your help.
