What awesome artwork and woodworking skills Barney!!! How long have you been making these? Have you ever given one to the Whitehouse? They would make an awesome display for somewhere in our country's Symbolic Building. Let visiting heads of state and the public see the beauty.

This is called "intarsia"! I've been doing it for about 10 years. It's not my design. I buy the patterns and copy them and cut them out of various kinds of wood. No stain involved. Nothing to do with wine making, Just thought I'd throw it in for patience!!

So you started doing it when you turned 70? Amazing. They sure look great.

That's about the time! Of course I was doing some woodworking before that. I takes about month off and on to finish the big eagle. I have sold some for $250.

I get most of my patterns from intarsia.com. This is the girl who started this craft a few years ago. If you go that web site you will see the many project that can be done. I've made many of them.
