Our local community has a festival every September called " Popcorn Days " For the last three years our band ( Dusty Blue ) that I have played in for 23 years has been the main entertainment. We play old & new country and some classic rock and roll. It was a fun day for all, but some time was set aside to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11

Unbelievable. This place is just full of talent and surprises. I hope you had a blast.

So why is it called Popcorn Days? Is that what is grown locally - maybe some Orville Redenbocker? What wine do you pair with it

We have a popcorn processing plant in town which is now ConAgra, I think they process around 80% of the popcorn used in the U S. The original owner ( Art Vogel ) established popcorn day 50 years ago thus the name, There are many different names placed on bags of popcorn that leave from here.
